KUALA LUMPUR: An unidentified man was found dead after he fell into a large drain near a furniture store in Section 36 here today.
In a statement, deputy district police chief Superintendent Ramsay Embol said the man was found at 11.15am.
Seven rescue workers from the Section 15 Fire and Rescue Department recovered the body about five metres from the spot where he is believed to have fallen.
No identification documents were found and he is believed to be a foreign national based on the absence of a BCG vaccination scar.
The body has been sent to Hospital Tuanku Ampuan Rahimah Klang for a post-mortem.
The case has been classified as sudden death.
