KUALA LUMPUR: A video showing a child saying her father is good at making 'air ketum' has raised concerns.
The 14-second video, which is being widely shared on social media, is set in what appears to be a classroom filled with young pupils.
The voice of a woman, who identifies herself as "cikgu", can be heard. She asked the pupils whether their fathers were good at cooking.
The camera then zooms in on the pupil, who made the 'air ketum' remark.The entire class burst into laughter.
The National Union of the Teaching Profession (NUTP) president Aminuddin Awang told 'Harian Metro' he viewed the matter seriously as it involved a child.
"It should not have happened. It sullies the image of the family and the child," he said, adding that the NUTP was waiting for more information on the matter.
