KUALA LUMPUR: Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) leader Datuk Liew Vui Keong has died. He was 60-years-old.
The Batu Sapi Member of Parliament had been receiving treatment at the Gleneagles Hospital in Kota Kinabalu. It was reported yesterday that he was in critical condition in the intensive care unit.
The former Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Legal Affairs) is believed to have died from pneumonia.
Liew was president of the Liberal Democratic Party before joining Warisan in 2018.
His death necessitates a by-election for his parliamentary seat.
