KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and his wife Puan Sri Noorainee Abdul Rahman extended their Hari Raya Aidilfitri greetings to Muslims nationwide.
"Please accept Aidilfitri greetings from my wife, Noorainee and I, as well as our family. Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Maaf Zahir dan Batin," he said in his Hari Raya Aidilfitri address tonight.
Muhyiddin also recorded his highest appreciation and gratitude to all frontliners in the nation for working hard in combating the Covid-19 pandemic.
"Thank you for the devotion to the service, tireless efforts and sacrifices for working day and night to ensure our wellbeing and safety. I pray that you are all given the strength to discharge your duties and be given the best of health.
"Let us pray that we will be assisted by Allah in all of our efforts in facing the Covid-19 pandemic and for our beloved country to recover and prosper," he said.
