KUALA LUMPUR: Pas will continue its support for Perikatan Nasional (PN) government and the leadership of Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
Party deputy president Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said the party, alongside PN and Muhyiddin, will focus on efforts to combat the Covid-19 pandemic as outlined under the National Recovery Plan (NRP).
"Pas views seriously the latest developments involving the political turmoil within the government.
"Any statements to reflect the stance of the party over the crisis will only be issued by the president and secretary-general.
"At the moment, Pas continues to uphold the PN government and leadership of Muhyiddin and together focus on efforts in the battle against Covid-19 as outlined under the NRP introduced by the government," said Tuan Ibrahim in a statement today.
Pas, he said, also pledged its commitment to continue helping the people affected by the crises as a result of the pandemic during this difficult period.
"Therefore, it is hope that the people in the country remain patient and extend cooperation in the effort to combat Covid-19," read the statement.
