Booking link for second booster dose now available on MySejahtera

 

KUALA LUMPUR: Second Covid-19 booster dose appointments for those eligible can now be made via the MySejahtera application. 

MySejahtera in a Facebook post said the appointment booking link for the second booster dose has been made available via the app to those eligible. 

To access the booking link, eligible individuals must first update their MySejahtera application to the latest version; version 2.0.3 and update their details such as date of birth. 

"After that, open the Covid-19 vaccination page to view the second booster dose booking link," it said in the post.

For the second booster dose, only Pfizer vaccines are available at the moment. 

Previously, only those aged 60 and above with comorbidities, those aged 60 and above without comorbidities, individuals living at long-term care facilities, individuals aged 18 to 59 with comorbidities, frontliners and travellers going abroad were allowed to get their second booster jab. 

On Tuesday, Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin told Dewan Rakyat that healthy individuals aged 50 to 59 can also now get their second Covid-19 vaccine booster jab. 

As of yesterday, 16,173,085 of the total population have received their first booster and 268,777 have received their second booster.
