KUALA LUMPUR: Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah today met tens of media personnel gathering outside Gate 2 of Istana Negara.
During his 15-minute visit, the King also asked newsmen to be patient and remain calm as the caretaker government was still running as usual.
"I won't issue any statement (here), use the statement issued by Istana Negara," he said.
About 100 of media personnel camped outside the palace since 8am as coalition and party leaders are expected to submit the names and numbers to the King.
It was slated for 2pm today but has since been postponed to 2pm tomorrow.
His Majesty also handed food packages to the newsmen during the visit.
