KUALA LUMPUR: Police have set up 24-hour roadblocks from yesterday at strategic locations in each district as part of the force's omnipresence strategy to curb crime.
Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Acryl Sani Abdullah said the roadblocks would however not be mounted during daytime or peak hours to ease traffic flow.
The public has been urged to give their cooperation and follow instructions given by officers manning the roadblocks.
