They received their appointment letters from the Raja of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Putra Jamalullail, at Istana Arau.
Present were Raja Muda of Perlis Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, Menteri Besar Mohd Shukri Ramli, State Secretary Datuk Seri Hasnol Zam Zam Ahmad, Perlis Mufti Datuk Dr Mohd Asri Zainul Abidin, Perlis legal adviser Mohd Radhi Abas and state Speaker Datuk Hamdan Bahari.

On Tuesday, Sanglang assemblyman Shukri, who is also Perlis PN chairman and state Pas commissioner, took his oath as the state's eighth menteri besar.
