KUALA LUMPUR: The official song for Malaysia Madani, also entitled Malaysia Madani, and sung by pop rock band Bunkface, was launched today.
The song, written by Bunkface frontman Sam with the lyrics by Pidaus, was performed by the band for the first time at the Youth Empowerment Fair which was attended by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Besides Sam, the other members of Bunkface are bassist Youk, drummer Biak and lead guitarist Paan. Their hit songs include Malam Ini Kita Punya, Darah Muda and Revolusi.
