PASIR GUDANG: A murtabak stall operator here, who bears an uncanny resemblance to the Johor Crown Prince Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, is raking it in.

Visitors to the bustling night market in Pasir Gudang here would stop by his stall just to get a glimpse of the murtabak seller, known locally as Mizi.

Some would take a second look, while others would do a double take. Many would ask for a photo with him. More often than not, their curiosity would translate into actual sales. And business for Mizi, is roaring.

Mizi's claim to fame shot up when a TikTok user with the handle 'genggonegarage', uploaded an eight-second clip of the 36-year-old, whose features, from the side, resembles the crown prince.

The clip amused many, who took the opportunity to visit the stall for their own social media content and to sample Mizi's murtabak.

Some jokingly commented that times must be hard that even royalty are taking on second jobs to supplement their income.

Others quipped that the crown prince went 'incognito' to be closer to his subjects.

A user even suggested that Mizi wore more formal attire and a gold watch, and to practice his wave and smile, and apply to be the crown prince's double.
