PUTRAJAYA: Plantation and Commodities Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof will lead the Malaysian delegation to the Malaysian Palm Oil Forum East Africa 2023 in Nairobi, Kenya, from July 3 to 7.

The Plantation and Commodities Ministry said Fadillah would deliver a keynote address and inaugurate the event on July 4.
He will emphasise Malaysia's commitment to promoting sustainable palm oil production and the country's expertise in the industry.
"While in Kenya, the deputy prime minister and plantation and commodities minister is scheduled for a series of high-level meetings with cabinet secretaries of Kenya and other relevant stakeholders, including representatives from the palm oil industry.
"These meetings aim to foster greater cooperation and explore potential business opportunities in the palm oil sector between Malaysia and Kenya," it said in a statement today.
It said Fadillah's itinerary included visits to major palm oil refineries and food manufacturing companies and meeting the Malaysian diaspora in Kenya.
