Anwar gives final warning to those playing up 3R issues [NSTTV]

KUALA LUMPUR: The government is giving a final warning to those who play up the 3R issues (race, religion and royalty).

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said playing up such sentiments as 'political ammunition' could disrupt the country's stability.

He warned that the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and the police were monitoring everyone regardless of their affiliation.

"There will be no exception for those who disobeys the law and challenges the constitution.

"That is the consensus not only from the government but also other parties. I pray that this country be saved from people who are desperate for power."

"The message is enough. Consider this a final warning.

Anwar said the government has no choice because academics have been pressuring the government to maintain the country's security and stability.

"There are some people who think that they are all high and mighty... that they will not be charged or challenged.

"It shouldn't be like that. We will not look at their race, ranks, wealth or social status (when taking action).
