KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission's (MACC) Investigation Division is looking for a 47-year-old chief executive officer to assist in an investigation into a false claims case.
The commission believes the man, identified as Datuk Justin Lim Hwa Tat, whose last known address is No. 54, Jalan SS 22/27 Damansara Jaya, 47400 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, could shed some light on the case.
It is learnt that the case was being investigated under Section 18 of the MACC Act 2009.
"Anyone with information on the man can contact the investigating officer, Freddick Makiun, at 03-8870 0480 or 014-8595 925, or email freddick@sprm.gov.my," MACC said in a statement.
Lim is on the board of several publicly listed companies.
He was appointed Sersol Bhd CEO on June 15, promoted from his earlier role as managing director, following a change in the company's corporate structure.
Checks on Sersol's website revealed that Lim had a direct interest of 93,750,000 ordinary shares (13.847 per cent) and had no conflict in any business arrangement involving the company.
The website also stated that Lim had not been convicted of any offence within the past five years, other than traffic offences, if any, and had not been imposed any public sanctions or penalty by relevant regulatory bodies during the financial year.
Lim is also on the board of SMTrack Bhd as an executive director since his appointment on Jan 7 last year.
Lim also owns Melaka United FC, a Malaysian professional football club based in Melaka that competes in the Malaysia Super League.
