JOHOR BARU: The Kembara Mahkota Johor is making a comeback for this year, the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic.
Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar, granted an audience to Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, State Secretary Tan Sri Datuk Dr Azmi Rohani and Council of the Johor Royal Court president Datuk Dr Abdul Rahim Ramli, to discuss state matters and was briefed on the Kembara.
The 23rd edition of the Kembara from Aug 5-8, this year, will cover almost 880km across all 10 districts in Johor.
The ruler wanted to stay abreast of developments within the state, despite still recuperating from recent surgery to his right shoulder.
The hour-long briefing was held in Istana Polo, which in on the grounds of Istana Pasir Pelangi.
