KUALA LUMPUR: Several restaurants and unlicensed stalls in the Bukit Bintang parliamentary constituency were raided by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) officers during an operation targeting the obstruction of walkways.
In a Facebook post, DBKL said the operation saw its enforcement officers confiscating canopies, stalls, tables, and chairs among others.
The restaurants and unlicensed stalls include those along Chow Kit, Jalan Leboh Pasar, Jalan Dewan Sultan Sulaiman, Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah and Jalan Ipoh.
DBKL said the unlicensed traders were also issued compounds.
"We will continue monitoring and enforcement efforts throughout the city."
