KUALA LUMPUR: TV3 personalities have come out to ask people to pray for the channel's Nightline anchor, Raymond Goh, who is currently in critical condition in hospital following a stroke.
Former TV3 newsreader Datuk Ras Adiba Radzi shared her experiences with Goh, whose Muslim name is Mohd Zaman Goh, and asked everyone to pray for her friend and former colleague.
"I was one of the first generation of newsreaders with Raymond Goh and several others. What I can share with you is that the world of newsreading at the time was very different.
"Right now, Raymond is in the ICU (intensive care unit) fighting for his life. I ask everyone to pray for him," she said.
Meanwhile, Goh's TV3 colleague Mohd Azri Atan, in an Instagram posting, also asked for prayers for the veteran newsman.
"Continue to pray and say the al-Fatihah for my friend Mohd Zaman Goh."
Goh, known as "the man with the golden voice" has been involved in the broadcast industry for 30 years.
