SEREMBAN: Almost a million colour lights are being used to decorate Luna Wonderland 2023, enlivening the atmosphere at the Malaysia Park here, which has attracted about 1,000 visitors since it opened on Aug 25.
Yang diPertuan Besar of Negri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz Ibni Tuanku Munawir and Tunku Ampuan Besar Tuanku Aishah Rohani Tengku Besar Mahmud were at the festival last night.
Negri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun said the excitement of local and foreign visitors added to the atmosphere at the park, covering 4.04ha.
"It is hoped that with this programme, more visitors will come to Seremban," he said in a post on Facebook.
Various attractions are available at Luna Wonderland 2023, such as the largest mascot in Malaysia, the Luna Mascot with a height of 11m.
The attractions are based on five themes, namely space, aquatic, animal, romance and forest.
Other attractions include LED picnic area; Aurora River; Tree Of Life with a height of 18m; Tunnel of Love; Starwars tunnel; Avartar tunnel; food stalls and photo booths.
Meanwhile, Seremban Mayor Datuk Masri Razali told Bernama that the Luna Wonderland 2023 Malaysia Tour, to be held until Sept 24, is jointly organised by the Seremban City Council (MBS) and Red Bear Event.
He said Malaysia Park was chosen as the venue because it is a natural forest, making the location unique and suitable for such an event.
He said Luna Wonderland would be held in 10 states, with Negeri Sembilan as the second state. The first was Kedah.
The ticket price is RM15 for adults and RM8 for children aged 12 and below, he added. - Bernama
