KUALA LUMPUR: The government has allocated RM18million to facilitate the judicial reforms under the 2024 Budget.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said they included preparing the alternative to mandatory death penalty bill.
"Judicial institution is an independent body safeguarding the Federal Constitution and sovereignty of the law.
"A total of RM38 million is allocated to enhance the productivity of the institution," he told Dewan Rakyat during the tabling of the 2024 Budget here today.
