KLUANG: Three Singaporeans who were driving British made supercars were left in despair by the side of a trunk road here after one of them caused a crash involving the three cars.
The accident occurred at around 9am yesterday, as one of the McLarens was about to make a turn to enter a junction at kilometre 63 along Jalan Yong Peng here.
All the drivers escaped unhurt.
Kluang District deputy police chief, Deputy Superintendent Nik Azmi Husin, said all three Singaporeans were driving McLaren 570S and 720S supercars from the fourth mile heading towards Taman Seri Lambak.
"Upon arriving at the scene where the accident occurred, the lead car in front slowed down to enter a junction on the right and the car in the middle slowed down by braking.
"However the last car apparently lost control and slammed into the second car, which in turn hit the lead car in front of it," he said when contacted yesterday.
According to Nik Azmi, the case is being investigated under Rule 10 LN 166/59 of the Road Traffic Rules.
