KUALA LUMPUR: Deleum Bhd, together with Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), held a corporate social responsibility programme at SJKT Jalan Bangsar to provide exposure and understanding on the dangers of corruption among students.
A total of 93 students, 11 teachers and staff were involved in the inaugural programme.
Starting with an anti-corruption briefing by MACC Community Education Division officer, Kesavan Rathakrishnan, the programme continued with an interaction session between students and MACC officials present.
Colouring activities and puzzle games were also held with the climax being the appearance of the 'Hero of the Day', Captain MACC.
Present were the SJKT Jalan Bangsar headmistress, Nirmala Devaraj and Deleum Group Bhd chief executive officer Ramanrao Abdullah.
One of the students, Moubani Sree Sowmangaly Rajaram Saravanan, said the programme provided many benefits to the students to better understand good values such as honesty and trust.
She said the values need to be practised in an effort to combat corruption from a young age.
"Thank you MACC and Deleum Berhad for organising this beneficial program to the students of SJKT Jalan Bangsar," she said.
