KUALA LUMPUR: Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad will hold a special press conference on Covid-19 developments at 4pm today in Putrajaya.
The special press conference, which will be held in the Health Ministry headquarters, will also be the first for Dr Dzulkefly since being reappointed to the role.
The press conference is expected to be broadcast live on the ministry's Facebook page.
Covid-19 numbers have seen a surge nationwide, with 20,696 cases registered between Dec 10 and Dec 16.
On social media platform X, Dr Dzulkefly had shared data from Covid19Place which showed a rise in 8,000 cases compared to the week before.
From Dec 3 to Dec 9, a total of 12,757 Covid-19 cases were reported nationwide, with 11 fatalities.
