KLANG: Two men were killed while five others were injured in an accident involving three vehicles on Persiaran Sultan Ibrahim, Bandar Baru Klang, early this morning.
The injured include two children, an infant, and two men.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director of operations, Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar, said that they received an emergency call about the accident at 6.23am.
He said that a team of officers and members from the Sungai Pinang Fire and Rescue Station quickly rushed to the scene.
"Based on initial reports, the accident involved three vehicles – a Perodua Bezza, Honda City, and Toyota Camry, with a total of seven victims.
Two men died after being thrown into the drain and were confirmed dead by the medical team from the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MoH).
The other five victims, including two female children and an infant, suffered injuries," he said.
All the victims were taken to the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital.
