KLANG: A teenage foreign boy was found dead, believed to have been crushed by a train in an incident on Jalan Pelabuhan Utara near here, last Wednesday.
The South Klang police chief Assistant Commissioner Cha Hoong Fong said his team received a report about the discovery of the boy's body around 11.35 am on Wednesday.
"Upon investigation, it was found that the incident occurred on the side of the track opposite a factory on Jalan Pelabuhan Utara.
"The victim was a 19-year-old foreign national, and a physical examination revealed that he was not wearing a shirt and only had long pants.
"The victim suffered injuries below both knees, believed to have been crushed by a train," he said in a statement today.
He said based on the autopsy conducted at Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital (HTAR), the cause of death was "severe lower limb injuries due to being hit by a train" and there were no other injuries.
"So far, the police have found no criminal elements, and a sudden death investigation paper has been opened.
