KUALA LUMPUR: The Perak State Health Department is investigating sexual harassment allegations made against a doctor at the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital in Ipoh.
State health director Dr Feisul Idzwan Mustapha said the Health Ministry, through the department, has received a poison pen letter through mail on Feb 28.
An independent investigation committee was set up the next day.
"The committee consists of officers appointed by the Health deputy director-general (medical).
"The investigation is ongoing with the collection of evidence.
"The ministry views this allegation seriously and has zero tolerance for sexual harassment in the workplace," said a statement posted on Health Ministry's X today.
