Sultan Mizan advises prospective Haj pilgrims to focus on worship

KUALA NERUS: Sultan of Terengganu, Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin, has advised prospective Haj pilgrims to focus earnestly on performing the fifth pillar of Islam in the Holy Land.

His Royal Highness emphasised that the invitation to perform the Haj is a special invitation from Allah SWT to His chosen faithful.

"I am sure that the call to Haj is eagerly anticipated by all Muslims. Therefore, I hope the pilgrims will earnestly perform all the obligatory and essential rituals of the Haj that they have learned during the courses organised by Tabung Haji.

"The invitation to perform the Haj is a special one.

It should not be wasted on unbeneficial matters," said Sultan Mizan in his speech for the Departure Ceremony for a batch of 139 prospective Haj Pilgrims from the state to the Holy Land for the 1445/2024M Haj Season at Stesen Kuala Terengganu at Sultan Mahmud Airport here last night.

His speech was delivered by Raja Muda Terengganu Tengku Muhammad Ismail Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin.

Sultan Mizan also praised the excellent service quality of Tabung Haji in caring for the welfare and safety of Malaysian pilgrims to the Holy Land.
