PUTRAJAYA: Probes into the awarding of a contract to a firm linked to Hannah Yeoh's husband are not related to the Youth and Sports Ministry.
Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki reiterated that they are investigating the irregularities in the procedures during the awarding of the contract.
"The investigation we are currently conducting focuses on the procedures regarding the awarding of the contract to the company.
"However, as I have stated before, so far there appears to be no connection between the Youth and Sports Ministry or, more specifically, the minister in question and the awarding of the contract," he said to reporters after 'The Sin of Corruption: A religious perspective' book launch here today.
