KUALA LUMPUR: The National Registration Department (NRD) says it will give full cooperation to the Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission (EAIC) to resolve 13 complaints of integrity misconduct linked to the department.
In a statement, the NRD vowed to give full cooperation to the EAIC in addressing the complaints lodged against its personnel.
"The department will not compromise on any misconduct involving integrity by its personnel.
"Appropriate actions and penalties will be meted out if investigations confirm the culpability of any officers," it said.
The NRD also reiterated its commitment to upholding integrity standards by continuously enhancing procedures and workflow processes within the department.
The department said ongoing efforts were being made to strengthen the integrity of its personnel through various programs aimed at fostering a culture of accountability and transparency.
Earlier today, it was reported that the Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission (EAIC) received 176 complaints of misconduct this year, mostly involving the Immigration Department.
