KUALA LUMPUR: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia secured the 'FFF1' license plate with a winning bid of RM1.75 million.
In a statement on his Facebook page, His Majesty expressed his hope that the proceeds from the bid, which were handed over to the Federal Government, would benefit the people.
Last June, His Majesty made headlines by winning the 'FF1' plate with a bid of RM1.2 million.
The registration number set a record at that time as the highest price ever paid for a single vehicle license plate in Malaysia.
