Rahman Mohd Din steps up as CEO of Malaysian Institute of Integrity

KUALA LUMPUR: Rahman Mohd Din has been appointed the new chief executive officer (CEO) of the Malaysian Institute of Integrity (IIM), effective June 24.

According to IIM's statement issued today, Rahman was formerly Johor's Director of State Development.

The holder of a Master of Science (Management) degree from Universiti Utara Malaysia started his career in public service in 1994 as an administrative and diplomatic officer at the Ministry of International Trade and Industry.

During his 30 years in service, he has held pivotal roles across various ministries, government agencies and state government secretary offices such as the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water, Implementation Coordination Unit, Prime Minister's Department; Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit of Malaysia (MAMPU); Public Service Department; Ministry of Higher Education (KPT) and in the State Government Secretary's Office of Melaka.

"Rahman's appointment follows the departure of Datuk Nor Hayati Awang, who recently assumed the role of Deputy Chief Secretary (Environmental Sustainability) at the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. We would like to express our appreciation for her dedication during her service in IIM," it said in a statement.
