KUALA LUMPUR: Police have launched a search for e-hailing driver Syahrul Asyraf Dahlan, 33, who has been reported missing since July 12.
Ampang Jaya police chief ACP Mohd Azam Ismail said Syahrul's last contact was with his family in Melaka. He was driving a brown Proton Persona with the number plate VCE 4826.
Azam said Syahrul's family lodged a report on July 14 after failing to reach him for several days.
"He often sleeps in his vehicle in the Klang Valley area due to his work.
"Syahrul's family also disclosed that he last stayed with a family member in Pandan Jaya on July 3."
Azam urged those with information on Syahrul's whereabouts to contact the Ampang Jaya district police headquarters at 03-42524866 or the nearest police station.
