KUALA LUMPUR: A video of a naked man bathing in a public fountain here has gone viral.
The 29-second video shows the man in the fountain, holding a cloth while standing in the fountain in the nude.
Two women can also be seen in the video looking at their mobile phones as the man continues bathing.
When contacted, Dang Wangi police chief Assistant Commissioner Noor Dellhan Yahaya said police have been alerted on the case.
"As soon as we received the video, we sent personnel to the scene to investigate.
"Police from the Tun HS Lee Police Station went to the scene at around 4.46pm, but could not find the man in the video there," he said, adding that the incident occurred in the vicinity of Dataran Merdeka.
Noor Dellhan advised the public to contact the police immediately if they encounter such incidents in future.
"This is to ensure that we can immediately take action and ensure incidents which could tarnish the image of our country do not go unattended.
"We are looking for this man and also urge the person who recorded the video to come forward to help with investigations ," he said.
