Tired Albertine Leo reunites with her family [WATCH]

KUALA LUMPUR: Six-year-old Albertine Leo Jia Hui, who was found safe in Batang Kali yesterday, was finally reunited with her family last night.

A relative of the family, in a Facebook post, shared a picture of Albertine Leo with her mother Leo Qieo Xin, and father and several other individuals believed to be family members.

Barbie Hui Hui said Albertine was with her family and that she was tired.

"Thank you everyone for your concern. Let's get her (Albertine) home tonight and let her have a good rest."

Barbie added that the picture was shared after receiving the parents' blessing.

She also thanked everyone for their concern, adding that the parents were very thankful as well.

"My sister's family wants to thank everyone for selflessly sharing any posts."

The family is believed to have been invited to dinner by a restaurant in Iskandar Puteri, where the picture was taken.

"Thank you to the owner of the restaurant for especially inviting us and allowing us to dine at this table. I was really surprised," said Barbie.

The Facebook post has garnered over 4,000 shares and 800 comments to date.

Albertine went missing at about 8.30pm on Saturday at the Eco Galleria business centre, Iskandar Puteri.

Yesterday, five suspects were remanded in connection with the abduction of the child.

Police rescued the child after she was held captive by a suspect at a hotel in Batang Kali.
