KUANTAN: After having been on medical leave for about two months, Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail returned to work today.
Wan Rosdy underwent surgery at the National Heart Institute (IJN) on June 7 before he was allowed to return home on June 14.
Wan Rosdy, in a Facebook post, said he is back to work and began his duty by chairing the weekly Pahang executive council meeting at Wisma Sri Pahang today.
"After a long break following the surgery at IJN on June 7, Alhamdulillah today I begin my duty by chairing the executive council meeting at Wisma Sri Pahang in Kuantan.
"I have also presented the appointment and transfer letters of several department heads under the Pahang State Secretary's administration which will come into effect on Aug 1," the posting said.
It is learned that Wan Rosdy will return to work only in stages including attending office-related matters and meetings but not outdoor programmes.
