KUANTAN: Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail has officially commenced his duties today at his new office located in the state-of-the-art Sultan Ahmad Shah Administration Centre (PPSAS) in Kota SAS.
In a Facebook post, he announced his move to PPSAS, which will replace the nearly 50-year-old Wisma Sri Pahang.
"May Allah SWT bless Pahang to remain safe and prosperous," he wrote.
The Menteri Besar's office is situated on the sixth floor of Block B in the complex, which is inspired by Pahang's coat of arms.
Wan Rosy also shared photos of himself and Pahang state secretary Datuk Seri Zulkifli Yaacob mingling with staff and inspecting the premises, including the state executive council meeting room.
The offices of the Menteri Besar and the state secretary were among the first to relocate to the new administrative complex, which consists of four main blocks.
Other units from Wisma Sri Pahang will move in stages.
The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, inaugurated PPSAS on Dec 7 last year while serving as the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
The RM415.5 million complex will replace the current state administration building, Wisma Sri Pahang, located in the town centre.
