70 disabled youths thrilled to explore Langkawi

The closing ceremony took place at CenangHill Beachfront, Pantai Tengah, and was attended by CMA Media managing director Suraya Saad.

Programme director Ally Isyraf said that the event was aimed at creating a platform for disabled youths to connect, exchange views, and engage in activities with the local community.

Participants, aged 19 to 35, enjoyed a range of activities, from visiting major tourist attractions to experiencing local culture.

Siti Naquyah Mat Ali, 36, who has physical disabilities, expressed her excitement about the event, particularly the cable car ride and the stunning views from Gunung Machinchang.

"I'm excited to participate in future events if invited, as we gained so many new experiences," she said.

Siti Hajar Tumin, 36, from Johor, said it was a joy making new friends, experiencing the tour boat ride and mangrove forest exploration.

"We are thankful for the opportunity to see eagles feeding and enjoy the cable car ride," she added.
