SHAH ALAM: Media Prima Bhd group chairman Datuk Seri Dr Syed Hussian Aljunid today (Aug 10) presented scrolls to graduates at the Politeknik Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah's (PSA) 25th graduation ceremony.
Syed Hussian was invited as guest of honour at the second session of the ceremony, held at Dewan Al-Jazari here, this evening.
At the event, he also presented a scroll to a Media Prima executive, Ahmad Aqil Nuruddin, who received a Diploma in Business Studies from the institution.
"I have been informed that in addition to excelling academically, Ahmad Aqil has also been active throughout his time as a PSA student and as an exco member of the Student Representative Council.
"Experiences like these add value and serve as a stepping stone for graduates to compete in the real world of work.
"For everyone's information, he is also my special officer," Syed Hussian said in his speech.
He also took the opportunity to extend his congratulations to the 833 graduates who would receive their bachelor's degrees, diplomas, and certificates of achievement at the convocation ceremony.
"Congratulations on successfully completing your studies with excellence and for your resilience in overcoming the pressures and challenges encountered throughout your education.
"Congratulations also to the parents and family members, and appreciation and thanks to the lecturers who have never known fatigue or weariness in imparting their knowledge."
