KUALA LUMPUR: Actor Hairul Azreen, a close friend of national badminton player and Paris 2024 Olympic bronze medalist Lee Zii Jia, expressed his pride and joy when Zii Jia recently gifted him the racket he used in the sports event.
In a video uploaded on Instagram Story (IGs), Hairul mentioned that the racket would be framed.
"This is the racket, when did you use it?" Hairul asked Lee.
"Bronze medalist's racket. There are two, but this is one of them. It's genuine," said Zii Jia.
"This, I'll frame," replied Hairul.
Not only the racket, but Zii Jia also gifted a shuttlecock with the inscription "Paris 2024" to Hairul's daughter, Alisa Aisyah.
On Instagram (IG), Hairul also shared a video of him and his wife preparing nasi lemak with fried chicken for the national badminton player.
