TUARAN: Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor has urged the people to continue supporting the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) – Pakatan Harapan (PH) Plus coalition government in its development efforts.
He said the government is dedicated to addressing various issues and enhancing the state's economy.
"Since the pandemic, we have faced numerous challenges and implemented various programmes aimed at improving the lives of our people and advancing the overall development of Sabah," he said during the Lantern Festival opening at Padang Astaka here last night.
GRS formed the government following the state election in 2020.
Hajiji also acknowledged the previous administration's legacy of issues, including water supply problems, but assured that the current government is committed to finding solutions.
"We recognise the inherited problems and are focused on resolving them effectively.
"The people must trust in the government's efforts and not be swayed by unfounded criticisms," he added, reinforcing the government's ongoing commitment to addressing public concerns and driving progress.
The event was attended by Rural Development Minister Datuk Jahid Jahim, Tuaran member of parliament Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau, and Lions Club Tuaran president Captain Frankie Goh, who also served as the event's organiser.
