Perlis Regent calls on tourism stakeholders to boost Visit Perlis Year 2024-2025 efforts

KANGAR: The Regent of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, has called for greater efforts from all tourism stakeholders to ensure the success of Visit Perlis Year (TMPs) 2024-2025.

His majesty stressed TMPs is a vital campaign and the first step towards Visit Malaysia Year 2026.

"This initiative is crucial for maximising our economy and positioning Malaysia as a premier global tourism destination.

"TMPs is the first step towards Visit Malaysia Year 2026, and I am delighted and proud to invite all delegates to explore the serene landscapes, tranquil beauty, and hidden wonders of Perlis, situated in the northern region of Malaysia," he said during the opening ceremony of the ASEAN China Heritage Dimension of National Arts (DNA) here yesterday.

Also present was Raja Puan Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil.

Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra expressed hope that everyone would explore the many attractions in Perlis.

"This includes the Royal Transformation Project, which has revitalised Kampung Warna Warni Seberang Ramai, the Kota Kayang Museum, Batik Inderawasih, and enjoying the variety of delicious dishes offered by restaurants and cafes across the state.

"Immerse yourself in the calm beauty of Perlis, 'The Undeniable Charm,' and experience the state's natural wonders," he added.
