KOTA KINABALU: The 2024 Malaysia Day celebration tomorrow at Padang Merdeka is set to be a memorable event with exciting performances, says Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil.
Fahmi, who chairs the National Day and Malaysia Day (HKHM) 2024 Main Committee, said that some areas were being fine-tuned, particularly on the technical side, based on feedback from the full rehearsal last night.
"I believe this celebration will be something special. We're addressing issues such as audio glitches after receiving feedback, especially from participants," he told reporters after observing the rehearsal.
Fahmi said that each year's Malaysia Day celebration had its own unique elements.
"This year, we'll enjoy performances from a number of top artists to mark the occasion," he said.
Meanwhile, Sabah Tourism, Culture, and Environment Minister Datuk Christina Liew extended an invitation to the public to join the celebration at Padang Merdeka tomorrow
