MUAR: A 63-year-old man was found dead in the rear seat of a car at Masjid Tanah here today.
District police chief Assistant Commissioner Raiz Mukhliz Azman ruled out foul play and classified the case as sudden death.
The man found in the parked by the road had undergone dialysis treatment. He is believed to have suffered from kidney failure.
He was found unconscious in the car by a passer-by who alerted the police.
Raiz Mukhliz said the vehicle was registered to the victim's son, who confirmed his father had a long history of medical issues related to his kidney condition.
"There were no signs of external injuries or any elements suggesting a crime," he added.
The body was sent to the hospital for a post-mortem examination.
