That's exactly what a solo diner from Penang did at Nasi Kandar Sulaiman today, breaking the previous record of RM372.
"RM400, breaking the old record.
"A friend gave him RM400 and challenged him to set a record.
"This is the highest record. A solo diner reached RM400," Nasi Kandar Sulaiman announced on its Facebook page.
The diner took only an hour to finish the platter of nasi kandar, which included enough rice for three people, 10 squids, 29 prawns, four pieces of fish, two pieces of chicken, a salted egg, a boiled egg, okra, and two fish heads.
In a TikTok video uploaded by Nasi Kandar Sulaiman, the diner said he ate at the restaurant today and set a new record of RM400 for a nasi kandar meal.
"Nasi Kandar Sulaiman is the most 'surrr' in Penang," he said.
Last month, a Kedahan had finished a plate of nasi kandar valued at RM372, surpassing the previous record.
Before that, TheFat.Burger owner Ashwad had set a record with a RM350 nasi kandar plate.
