LANGKAWI: A quick reach for a fallen phone proved disastrous for a 23-year-old man, who accidentally crashed his car into a clothing shop in Pantai Chenang today.
District police chief Assistant Commissioner Shariman Ashari confirmed that no one was hurt in the 12.30pm accident involveing a Perodua Axia.
"The driver was on Lorong Sultan Abdul Halim 2 when his phone slipped to the floor.
"In trying to retrieve it, he accidentally hit the accelerator and slammed the vehicle into the shop.
"No one was injured during the incident," he said in a statement today.
