Senior citizen receives passport at home in Kuala Terengganu

KUALA LUMPUR: A bedbound senior citizen received her Malaysian International Passport at her home in Kuala Terengganu.

In a Facebook post by the Terengganu Immigration Department, the head of the Security and Passport Division Ahmad Salihin Salleh personally delivered the passport to Tan Peck Wah on Sunday.

At 94 years old, Tan faces health issues that prevent her from visiting the immigration office.

She applied for a passport to pursue follow-up medical treatment overseas.

The post also featured photos of officers assisting Tan with the registration process, including taking her fingerprints.
