12-year-old girl missing after retrieving food from car parked at Bukit Tinggi flat

KUALA LUMPUR: A 12-year-old girl has been reported missing since yesterday after her mother asked her to retrieve food from a car parked at their flat in Bukit Tinggi, Klang.

Madrafataha Indal Bangsawan was last seen leaving the house at 2.20pm yesterday, wearing a green t-shirt and black track bottoms.

The girl is described as thin, fair-skinned, approximately 150cm tall, with shoulder-length hair.

South Klang police chief Assistant Commissioner Cha Hoong Fong confirmed receiving a report about the missing girl lodged by her mother at 8.59pm yesterday.

"The child went down to the parking lot alone and did not return home.

"The mother searched the parking lot area but was unable to find her daughter," he said in a statement today.

He urged the public with any information on the missing girl to contact the South Klang district police headquarters at 03-33762222 or the nearest police station.
