KUALA LUMPUR: Some 200 people took part in the "mega solidarity rally for Palestine, one year of Gaza genocide" held in Jalan Tun Razak today.
Wangsa Maju police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Lazim Ismail said the rally took place from 2pm to 3.30pm.
"Participants gathered at Surau Tabung Haji and then marched to The Icon Building, Jalan Tun Razak.
"(It) proceeded peacefully and there were no incidents during the rally," he said in a statement.
Since the war began, more than than 41,000 Palestinians have been killed, over 96,000 injured, and over a million people forced to flee their homes to escape Israel's atrocities.
