KUALA LUMPUR: Police are seeking public assistance to identify the body of a man found floating in the Klang River on Wednesday evening.
Subang Jaya police chief Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said police received a report at 10.25pm regarding the body which was discovered by a member of the public near the Bukit Tandang PJS 1 Cemetery in Bandar Sunway.
"Preliminary investigations revealed that the body had no identification documents. Tattoos were found on the left side of the neck in the shape of a star, on the left arm with the phrase "NO MONEY NO HONEY," on the left wrist in the shape of a knife, and on the left shoulder," Wan Azlan said.
A post-mortem examination has been conducted, but the cause of death remains under investigation.
Police are urging anyone with information or anyone who has been unable to contact a missing family member, relative, or acquaintance to come forward.
