KOTA BARU: The body of a 13-year-old boy, who went missing while bathing in an irrigation canal in Kampung Pangkal Kalong, Ketereh yesterday, was found today.
Muhammad Aqif Aisar Azrie Faisal's body was found about 11.40am.
Ketereh Fire and Rescue Department commander Hamdam Mamat said the body was discovered about 150m from the spot where he was reported to have gone missing.
He said the department handed over the body to the police.
The body was then sent to a hospital for post-mortem.
The victim was bathing in the canal with three friends when the incident happened.
