BATU PAHAT: A lorry driver was killed when his vehicle crashed into the rear of another lorry at Km 79.9 of the Plus (southbound) highway, early this morning.
Fire and Rescue Department operation commander Muhammad Nur Zufayri Mohd Azaha said the driver of the 10-tonne lorry had crashed into the 40-tonne lorry at 1.59am.
The impact of the crash left the 28-year-old driver pinned to the seat.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel. The other driver, 53, was unharmed.
